Applications for this year's class, 2017, are closed.

Application Instructions

You must complete the 2 components before the November 30 application deadline.  Applications are open. Payment will not be needed until after you've been accepted. If you still need to fill out a waiver, renew your membership, pay, etc., links are still here for your convenience:

  1. Fill out the student application.

  2. Ensure that your WAC membership is good through the end of 2017. You can wait until you find out you are accepted into the class before becoming a member if you'd like. To do so, do one of the following:

    • If you are not a current member: Join the WAC. (Register on website, sign waiver, and pay for membership.)

    • If you are a current member: Renew your WAC membership if your membership has expired or if it will expires at the end of 2016.

  3. Wait to hear from us, we plan on letting you know if you've been accepted by Dec 9th
  4. Provide payment.  If you are accepted, you will have one full week to pay for the class and WAC membership.
NOTE: Payment must be provided by Dec 16th or your spot will be given to someone else.

Admittance
Admittance is based on a review of applications and phone interviews (if needed), and is not first come-first served.  Applicants turned away from previous classes or who have volunteered as instructors in other WAC courses are given preference.  Should there be vacancies before class begins, they will be filled by the waitlist.
